Description: Here is a classic bright white French antique soup tureen in a smaller size which is actually harder to find, as are very large tureens. . It is in good antique condition. No cracks; no chips but there is a hairline in the lid — quite visible on the underside but hardly so on the top of the lid. (see photos). Knob is a sculptured artichoke and bud. Measures 8" tall and is 9 3/4" across at the handles. The last photo is of my mantelpiece in Paris — NOT FOR SALE but shows how well tureens look in a collection with all their small variations.
