Description: B flat CLARINET Artley 17S - PURCHASED IN 1963+ MOUTHPIECE + NICE CASE - UPPER BARREL FOR PARTS ONLY Replacing the upper barrel would create an instrument with really good quality sound. Artley 17S Clarinets are known for their superior quality of intonation and playability THE NUMBER 125120 CAN BE SEEN AT THE BOTTOM ON THE BACK OF THE LOWER BARREL, BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A SERIAL NUMBER BECAUSE THIS CLARINET WAS BOUGHT IN 1963 CONDITION: Purchased in 1963, this is a very lightly used (for less than a year) instrument and surfaces show only minor signs of wear (see photos), however the upper barrel has a crack around its right side just down from the Artley 17S insignia and designated by some scratch marks (see last two instrument photos); keys function properly; keys, rings and springs are all present; cork damage can be seen on the upper barrel where the two barrels interconnect (see photo); other cork and key pads appear to be in good working order.
