Not surprisingly, she sounds best in the originals written for her by then-husband Frank Wildhorn, such as the title tune, "Christmas Through a Child's Eye" (which they wrote together for their son), and "The Bells of St. Paul." But Eder also shines on Judy Garland's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and brings the house down with "Don't Rain on My Parade," made famous by Barbra Streisand, who like Garland is an artist Eder has often been compared with. "Don't Rain on My Parade" is also an example of some of the non-holiday fare in the show, along with Wildhorn's "Vienna" and "Gold."
