Description: China, Central Bank of China, 500 Yuan, 1944, P-266, VF 500 Yuan note from 1944 with the P'ai-lou gateway at left and a portrait of SYS at right. Black ink over multi-colored underprint, reverse is dark brown ink with denomination in English and Chinese, Chinese printer. Note still retains some crispness but is quite circulated with multiple folds, some wrinkling, edge and corner handling with some rounding but a solid note with original paper - no splits, no tears, no pinholes. Some very light soiling and some toning. Please review all photos to determine condition for yourself - the note you see in the photo is the note you will receive.
