Description: Brand: Charles RossModel #: ME 100 LCModel: High Shear Mixer/HomogenizerMissing: No rotor-stator includedCondition: Height adjustment works RPM control is "broken" (only goes at max RPM) Testing: -Turned on power swtich. Push up and down arrows on side and it goes up and down fine. Photo # 4 shows it at it's lowest height and photo #5 shows it at it's max height. -Problem is around it's lack of ability to control it's RPM's. (see video). When On/Off button is pushed, it started to rotate/stop in a "stepping" type motion. Unsure if it's "stepping up" type motion is an issue with it or that is part of how it is suppose to start off but I assume buyers will know that answer. After it does that "stepping up" process for about 30 seconds, it eventually starts increasing it's RPM very quickly. If you push the Speed up and down arrows both during and after it gets to max RPM, it doesn't allow user to adjust the speed at all. Even if you toggle the Actual/Preset Speed button. The RPM just keeps increasing until it reaches it's max RPM and stays there. So if you use it all the time at max RPM, then maybe it is ok for you, but if you need to adjust it to a lower than maximum RPM, then that will be a problem. I did take cover off and adjusted the speed sensor distance both closer to sensor and farther away with varying success. It appears the sensor on the motor shaft might have "issues". A few times it would then go from zero to it's intended preset RPM and stay in a close range of that number. For example, if I set it to 2000 RPM it would vary it's rotation RPM in about the 1600-2100 range. But odd things like running a cycle or opening the cover and adjust and putting it back on would then switch it back to only allowing maximum RPM once again. So it only runs at max RPM as a rule but if you know its actual problem, you could theoretically get it to be able to control it's RPM. But "broken" until that point. Will be shipped via freight.
