If you look at pictures 2 & 3, I tested this in my living room with the monitor, wires and both cameras along with testing the volume and everything worked perfectly. Cosmetically, I believe this was very lightly used. You will see that in the pictures. Possibly it was never used at all. The box has that this is a surveillance system but I also believe this could be used as a baby monitor (as the pictures on the box shows).
