The alternating layers of hard and soft bestow more flexibility and toughness to the steel than a solid homogeneous blade , and act much like serrations on the edge to aid in cutting. The wood handle is carved. The handle is well balanced with the blade while the knife fits into a Top Grain Brown Leather Sheath with belt loop. Overall Length: 9.5 inches.
