Vladimir Pavlosky (1884-1944) was born in the Ukraine of Russia and emigrated to the United States, settling in Massachusetts when he was 20 years old. He is known for figure, still life, and marine scenes. "Castle Dreams" features a Grecian dressed maiden at the edge of a lake gazing upwards. It measures 7.75" x 9.75" and is in excellent condition.
