Description: Case 5158 L SSP lockback, 6 dot “lightning S” 1984 stamp. Nice stainless steel lockback, 4-1/4” closed. This is the famous "MAKO" pattern.This is a special limited run knife - VIRGINIA GAME WARDEN - serial # 445 of 500 made.Special blade etch and engraving on the brass frame.Smooth action, great lockup, no wobble.A mint knife - never used, carried, or sharpened.The brass frame has minor tarnish and the usual minor rub marks (from the sheath).The blade has the factory finish and factory edge, clear blade etch.Genuine stag handles, no cracks.With original box and original CASE leather belt sheath.Box is intact but has some scuffs and shows aging.Note that the blade has the pattern number stamp 5158 L SSP. However, the box has the pattern number P158 L SSP. Case did not print special boxes for these limited production stag lockbacks. They were shipped in the same boxes that were used for the standard catalog Pakkawood version.
