Description: This is a VERY well made late 30's early 40's brown croc handbag that was owned and worn by Actress Carole Lombard. It is from the Personal Collection of Famed Hollywood Hair Stylist Sydney Guilaroff. This Handbag is in good condition for the age and i believe it was custom made for her. It has zippered compartments inside with no maker name on it. Winner will receive a Personal letter on letterhead paper signed, stamped and notarized. The letter is dated in 1994 stating how he came to own this item that belonged to Carole. Mr. Guilaroff is best known for his involvement with MGM Studios since the 1930's and being close friends with stars from Garbo to Monroe. This is one of the VERY nicest purses of Carole's that I have seen in this collection.
