Description: Monster Mutt Dalmatian is a custom bodied monster truck. The truck debuted in 2007 as a spin off of Monster Mutt and has become popular and a staple of Monster Jam since. Monster Mutt Dalmatian is a custom 3D dog concept monster truck owned by FELD Motorsports. It is the first spinoff of Monster Mutt, and has been driven primarily by multiple female drivers since its debut in 2007, with its most notable being Candice Jolly and Cynthia Gauthier. Only 2 male drivers have driven the truck. It currently is driven by Jamie Sullivan, Bailey Shea, and Myranda Cozad. Monster Mutt Dalmatian has also competed in every Monster Jam World Finals since its debut until 2019, and has even been featured in multiple Monster Jam merchandise and video games. History:Monster Mutt Dalmatian originally debuted in 2007 at Houston, Texas with Candice Jolly behind the wheel. The truck would compete in Monster Jam World Finals VIII, with Chad Tingler driving. Tingler would again drive the truck at Monster Jam World Finals IX the following year. During the event, the truck would become the only one to completely jump over the triple bus stack obstacle in the freestyle competition, and would ultimately finish third. Meanwhile, Jolly began competing in the World Finals the following year. In Panama 2009, Paul Cohen drove the truck. For the show in Costa Rica in 2009, Kim Crosby drove the truck. Beginning in 2013, a second Monster Mutt Dalmatian would be added to the team, with Taryn Laskey driving the truck. Laskey would go on to compete in the Young Guns Shootout at Monster Jam World Finals XIV, while Jolly competed in the main event. She would also receive a new chassis in June. In Stafford Springs 2013, Anna Mercedes Morris drove the truck. Meanwhile, Laskey would continue to drive the truck until her departure by the end of the 2014 season, and Cynthia Gauthier took over the driving duties as she competed in the Young Guns Shootout at Monster Jam World Finals XVI. In 2016, Monster Mutt Dalmatian received a new design, featuring a custom 3D dog body style. Gauthier competed in the Monster Jam AMSOIL Series East, and later the Young Guns Shootout at Monster Jam World Finals XVII, with Jolly again competing in the main event. In 2017, Jolly competed in Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series 4, while Gauthier competed in the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series West. Meanwhile, Chad Tingler would briefly return to drive the truck at Monster Jamβs inaugural event in Saudi Arabia. In 2018, Jolly competed in Stadium Championship Series 2. During the series, Jolly would win the Two-Wheel Skills Challenge in the second San Diego event, and later an overall event championship in Vancouver. Meanwhile, Gauthier competed in the Triple Threat Series West again, with Blake Granger filling her in as she briefly filled in for Brianna Mahon in Whiplash. Two additional trucks were added to the team for the 2019 season. The first was driven by Kristen Hope on the Razin Kane chassis, and competed in Monster Jam Triple Threat Series East. The second was driven by Kaylyn Migues on the Jailbird chassis, and competed in the Arena Championship Series. Meanwhile, Monster Mutt Dalmatian would receive a Fire & Ice counterpart, Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice, which was driven by Gauthier in Stadium Championship Series 1. As for Jolly, she competed in Stadium Championship Series 2, but would later compete in various events as part of that yearβs International tour. Migues would win two overall event championships in Washington, D.C. and Nampa, respectively. Gauthier would win three freestyle championships in Anaheim, Tampa, and the first Detroit event, and would also win the Two-Wheel Skills and overall event championships in the second Detroit event. Gauthier would be invited to compete in the main event and High Jump competitions at Monster Jam World Finals XX in Orlando, while Migues was invited to compete in the Showdown. Gauthier would go on to win the high jump competition, and would later compete in the All-Star Challenge that October. She continued to drive Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice until the end of the 2019 season. In 2020, the team was reduced back to two trucks. Gauthier would resume using the standard Monster Mutt Dalmatian body as she competed in Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series Green, with Jolly filling her in for several events. Gauthier would go on to win two freestyle championships in the series, in Anaheim and Miami. Meanwhile, Migues competed in the Arena Championship Series yet again. After the entire Monster Jam season abruptly ended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Monster Mutt Dalmatian was put on hiatus for the time being due to budget cuts by FELD Entertainment as a result of the pandemic. Jolly would eventually announce her retirement by the start of the 2021 season.[1] For the 2021 season, Monster Mutt Dalmatian received a Gears & Galaxies counterpart, being Monster Mutt Dalmatian Galaxy. The truck would first be driven by Linsey Read on the Scooby-Doo chassis for select events, beginning at the final shows of the 2021 Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series in Arlington. As Read continued to drive the truck in various events throughout the season, Gauthier would eventually return to driving the truck in June. However, it was later announced Gauthier would begin driving a new truck for the 2022 season, being Lucas Oil Stabilizer. Despite this, Gauthier would briefly drive the truck in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, due to the Stabilizer truck not being completely finished with testing. The truck would later make a quick return on Whiplash under Brianna Mahon in Monster Jam's first ever show in London, England. Monster Mutt Dalmatian was driven by Linsey Read in Arlington, Glendale & Orlando in October. Cynthia Gauthier would temporarily return to Dalmatian for the Australian Tour, where she would complete the first backflip in Australia in three years at Melbourne and would later win the freestyle and overall event championship in Sydney in a very muddy event. She also competed in Tampere, Finland & Arnhem, Holland. In 2023, the truck returns to full-time competition with former Scooby-Doo! driver Bailey Shea, who made her Monster Jam return for the first time since 2017, competing on Arena Series West with the TTM Kamikaze chassis as the teammate to David Olfert's Velociraptor. She finished 5th below her teammate. Former FTI Torque driver Jamie Sullivan also joins the team, competing on Arena Series Central. Jamie finished 7th in between the TK Motorsports trucks in the final standings. The truck also did international events with Myranda Cozad, her notably winning freestyle in Cape Town. Brianna Mahon returns from maternity leave & drives the truck in Rosemont & Hampton. Jamie will compete on Team Neon for the Superstar Challenge in Anaheim on November 11. In 2024, Bailey Shea competes once again on the west arena tour, while Jamie Sullivan competes on the central arena tour.
