Between Feb. 18th and 27th the Royal Canadian Regiment of Infantry played a decisive role in the Battle of Paardeberg. Later in the year on Nov. 7th at the Battle of Leliefontein three(3) Canadians received the Victoria Cross for their valor in the engagement.This coin is not certified, but I am considered by most of my colleagues as a conservative coin grader.
