Like 2010's Mrs. Miracle, Miracle is a made-for-TV movie based on a book by Debbie Macomber. But it's interesting that while both films feature many of the same characters and the same basic message, they differ in some key plot points (as do the books). Even more confusing is the fact that both films star Doris Roberts as Mrs. Merkle.
