It makes the existing soft light in your door really pop! How it works: LED lights are directional so without these plastic trim covers the light only shines in a downward direction as a soft illumination towards the door handle. What these plastic strips do is act as a lens, focusing the light passing through the material causing the light to concentrate internally in the layers of plastic and illuminating the strips to form a brighter sharp line that enhances the look of your vehicle. Does not include lights, this is for cars that already have the optional BMW lighting package. You will know if you have the necessary lighting package if you have a row of soft lights in this location. This product is only meant to amplify existing lighting. This kit is custom made to fit BMW F30 & F31. Kit contains 4 pieces total consisting of 1 piece per door.
