Description: All original Lionel Postwar 3424 Wabash Operating Brakeman Car, made from 1956-58. Includes 3424 8-56 operating instructions and set component envelope, both in great condition. Like new condition overall with white heat-stamped lettering on a blue plastic body with white doors. White rubberized man, two pole support assembly bases, bar end trucks, operational magnetic couplers and brake wheel. Only flaw noted is the shoe plate truck wire will need replaced in the future. Amazing boxes (both the 3424-89 and 3424-100) with insert, structurally sound, great color with all flaps, with normal aging and handling wear. Shortcomings noted on the boxes are staining, and on the 3424 box a small rub marks, a ½” piece of clear tape and a compressed corner (see images).
