Description: Travel back in time with this Epiphone model 5102TE electric guitar. Made in Japan, it's from the early 1970s. It's basically a hollowbody ES-335 copy. Cosmetically, it looks good. It does have some ordinary age and play wear. Tarnish on the vibrato arm and vibrato plate. Rosewood fretboard. Pearloid block fret inlays. Nickel frets. Bound headstock, neck, body, and pickguard. Raised pickguard. The previous owner put a Roadrunner sticker on the back of the body that I left on there. There are minimal scuffs and scrapes around the body. Functionally, the electronics work. There are two volume and two tone knobs. Three-way switch. Two humbuckers. Whammy bar. We cleaned the pots. The tuners have been upgraded to Speigels with locking screws. It comes in an Epiphone chipboard case. The middle case latch is missing. The handle and hinges work. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 46"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
