Description: This is a Buster Brown lighted Pam style store clock with the slogan “Buster Brown America’s Favorite Children’s Shoes” on the face. I’m guessing it’s 1950s vintage, because I can remember seeing one in a hometown shoe store back then growing up. It comes from my collection and worked when we displayed it in our kitchen until we took it down and stored it. When I sold some other clocks, I took them, including this one, to a vintage clock repair shop where he disassembled, cleaned and oiled them. Afterwards, he ran them for a day to check them. The pictures were taken with the original style 15w bulbs which are not included for fear the jostling during shipping might cause a problem. I would suggest using some LED bulbs, because they use less energy, but more importantly they burn cooler. The clock measures about 15” in diameter and shows some typical wear and tear from being used (see the pictures). The original decal with the manufacturer’s specifications is gone, but the name “PAM CLOCK CO. INC. NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.” is visible on the front face. The white spots on the face in the photos are reflections from other lights and not damage. Thanks for looking! Condition is Used. Check for my other listings.
