The Elmax Customs was introduced by Jerry Busse on 4-18-2021 through the SliceOganzaaaa!!! This is what Jerry had to say about these customs: All blades are made from ELMAX steel and have undergone our extensive heat-treat protocol designed specifically for maximum edge holding! They are coming in at 60-62 Rc. These ultra-thin slicers are .090" thick with an edge thickness of approximately .010" prior to sharpening!!!! That's about 3 sheets of paper thick prior to sharpening!!! Yowza!!! Well, after that insane turnout and how overwhelming that demand was, Jerry really put the Crab Shack to work to be able try to satisfy the demand. He came up with the Blind Trough Warfare which not only put some beautiful knives in everyone's hands but at a huge discount and gave everyone a fair shot at some hard to get customs especially if you are not good at sending emails at fractions of a second.. There are a few different blade shapes and a huge variety of handles so you never know what you will get until it arrives. There were very models were produced as these were not a normal production run. The reason for using the new Elmax steel is because for how thin the blade is. Busse Combat heat treat makes it really strong and have great edge retention so it will stay sharper for longer periods of time with use without having to sharpen as often. The Custom Elmax Variant was only made in a small run for the Ganzas and Grab Bag! This has a Saber Ground Hand Finished Satin Blade with very Fine V-Ground Edge that is Razor Sharp! They went all out and really did well with the Custom Fossil Bark Pieces in Acrylic finished off with Mosaic Pins & White Liners. You can see a lot of thought, planning and work went into making this a Truly "One of a Kind" knife! This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of Elmax Steel which is heat treated by Busse Combat! This knife will be backed 100% with Lifetime Warranty from Busse Combat!
