I purchased this long strap just before getting the watch restored and it hasn't been used so I didn't bother to get an original Bulova strap, approx. 9 3/4" long. The serial number indicates this watch was American made (not Swiss as some were) and the date code below the serial number indicates it was made in 1961, the second year they were made. Made from 1960-1977. This watch came from an Albuquerque estate of a retired Air Force X-15 pilot. History indicates that the Air Force issued the twelve pilots these gold watches.
