Built Quality Craft Models B&O 100Ton Covered Hopper KIt #351

I've built some of them and refinished them with new paint or stains and used Clover House dry transfers which allowed me to have almost and endless supply of different and unusual HO cars. They always come out great performing cars that are great looking. This is a Quality Craft Modles B&O 100T Covered Hopper kit that has been built but not decaled yet. The decals are in the box instructions. See pictures. I found a note that reads No couplers (Kadee #5's will fit), or Trucks, (A set of MDC #2919 Heavy Duty Roller Bearing Trucks enclosed. Easy model to finish up and run. Model in a QCM Grand Trukk Western Box. I have another one i auction too, but with out Trucks. It has B&O Decals. I recommend that you visit the Clover House site for Dry Transfers of your choice of probalby a thousand selections for application to your car. All of Scotia Scale Models kits have all become very rare, hard to find. I would also recommend you assemble these kits with Aleene's Tacky glue, which is a white glue which holds quite well, for longer than I have been using it. The great part is, if a part slips while drying, not that anyone ever misaligns anything during assembly, all you need to do is apply a swab or brush full of Denatured Alochol to the joint and wait a minute or two, then wiggle the joint and it will come apart with out damaging the wood, and the alochol will not warp the wood like water does. That way you have a second chance to get it correct. If you leave the original glue in it gets harder, it you scrape or wipe the glue off and use new glue and goog up agiain, you get another shot at it.
