Description: Silver plated, gold wash bell, Beuscher True Tone, Low Pitch tenor saxophone. This horn DOES play but is in need of some work. I bought it as a 3rd backup horn but never had the money to overhaul it, but I have played it out and it is useable. The Silver finish can be polished for better cosmetics, but the sound is amazing. My main tenor is a 1957 Mark VI and I actually like the tone better on this horn. The serial number puts it in 1926-1927 from what I could find online. The material over the octave key vent on the neck was there from the previous owner who said he liked it better that way and I just never took it off. I have another tenor almost exactly the same and ended up doing the same thing on that one. That is all extremely personal preference though. This is an excellent vintage horn in great shape.
