Actually, a very useful set of information, providing for American authors whose first editions are actually printed in England, and for English authors whose first editions were actually printed in America. This is a good bit of research for protection against buying what you logically assume to be a first edition but actually is not The books are broken down by author and book, making for easy checking. Books are in "as new" condition. THIS WAS A 1981 REPRINT OF A BOOK FROM 1936. THIS WAS TO BE A NUMBERED SET OF 500. THIS BOOK IS NOT NUMBERED, WHICH SUGGESTS THAT THE PUBLISHER PUT OUT MORE THAN 500 OF THESE. CONDITION OF THE BOOKS AND SLIP CASE ARE FINE AND THE BOOKS APPEAR UNREAD.
