Description: This is a very nice mens navy blue blazer by Brooks Brothers in a size 43R. This is made with the special Loro Piana wool. This blazer is from the 1818 line by Brooks Brothers in the Madison Fit, that is Fully Canvased, and has the gold metal Golden Fleece logo buttons. This is a recent model. One of the great things about Brooks Brothers is the fact that they have odd number blazer sizes, which means a 43 could fit a 42 since it is a Madison Fit with a slightly more generous cut. Please verify all measurements before bidding please. This is made of a great looking and elegant weight 100% wool by Loro Piana, woven in Italy exclusively for BB in a solid navy blue. The material is the elegant finish wool, which is soft to the touch. It is a great blazer….. please see the up close pictures for the details of the material and the blazers details. This is a single breasted 2 button front jacket and it has 4 buttons on the sleeves. Again, the buttons are all done in gold metal Golden Fleece logo buttons. This blazer has a single vented rear and it is fully lined with 3 interior pockets. It is labeled a Madison Fit, which is a standard cut that can fit a 43 or be a tailored fit for a 44 or a more generous fit for a 42. Please see the measurements and compare to your personal needs. The measurements are as follows: CHEST = 46 1/2 inches around the outside of the coat measured just under the armpits. We take measurements by measuring the circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn around the outside of the coat. We do NOT measure laying flat. This is the Madison Fit which is standard cut through the chest. SLEEVES = 33 1/2 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 23 1/4 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs. TAIL = 30 1/2 inches from the BOTTOM of the collar to the end of the waistline hem in the rear. SHOULDERS = 19 1/2 inches wide from shoulder seam to shoulder seam WAISTLINE = 44 1/2 inches around the midsection of the coat at the bottom button which is about 9 inches up from the bottom hem line. You can tell it was well taken care of as the exterior material is in nice condition. We do not see any real major issues with the outside, but again it was worn so it isn’t perfect as new. Nothing major or easily seen that would not allow you to be fully proud to wear this great blazer. On the interior there may be some loose lining threading or such, but nothing significant at all.
