Description: Boomwhacker Building Blocks book one is designed as an introduction to Boomwhackers and music in general for children in Primary/Elementary education. The book is made up of eight original songs and five well known tunes,In different styles, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Reggae, Ska, Pop. All the original songs have Lyrics.Sold as a download It is important to first get the children to clap the rhythms of each song with the included piano accompaniment, or downloadable backing tracks. As well as using the Boomwhacker tubes to play the songs, singing the songs helps memorise the names of the notes, where they are on the stave, and to recognise them when playing the Boomwhackers. Not everyone will find it easy to learn to read music, therefore all the Boomwhacker music is coloured to match the colour of each tube. You should have at least one basic school set of tubes for book one, Ideally two. There are download links on the last page of the book to download backing tracks for the 13 songs in the book. There is also a link to download a PowerPoint presentation of the Boomwhacker parts with backing tracks embedded on each page.
