Description: Black powder matchlock derringer barrel, 4.5 inches, 7 inches overall. Made by retired gunsmith using only those tools available in 1365 Europe. All wood parts turned on spring pole lathe. Matchlocks were the first guns made and were fired by fuse or glowing matchcord. 30 calibre and fires both ball and shot. Comes with powder primer, powder measure, ramrod, oiler brush. Barrel is blued and comes with display rug. Note, since I have no control over if black powder is used, correct amount of powder and correct loading procedure, I therefore sell these barrels as non firing collectibles, fire at own risk.
