Description: Made from natural volcanic rock, this crushed aggregate/soil medium is very porous to improve drainage and aeration of the roots. The color is black with a few grayish-black rocks speckled throughout. It's great to use for top soil dressing, bottom layer for drainage and mixed with akadama and our all purpose organic bonsai soil mix. It can also be used for cactus and succulent plants too. We've repackaged the soil to fit inside a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Medium Box for better priced shipping. This small grain is about 1/8 - 3/8 inch in size. It will weigh approximately 14 lbs.
