Description: One (1) case is for sale in this listing. The inventory notes copied below may indicate if there is a second matching case in stock, but only one case is here, and the photo of 10 cases is just to identify which is which. Local pickup in L.A. (the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles or near Glendale where it's temporarily stored) only. Contents not included. These cases are being used for parts/equipment storage at Synhouse and any equipment/parts shown being stored inside the case is not included, the photos were only shown for reference. There are six nearly identical cases to be sold, numbered 5-10 in green numbers in one of the photos in the photo gallery, only one case is for sale in this listing, as indicated by the photos. These are all either Anvil brand or Art Tec brand, and it's nearly impossible to tell which is which as those seem to be identical and were at the same company for the same purposes (carrying very expensive LCD projectors for events), but I've indicated the brand here the best I can. My own company inventory notes are copied below. These have been storing various Synhouse machines, patch bays, cables, parts, etc. since they came in July 2006. None of those contents/items are included. Most of them had the blue polyurethane wheels that have either cracked and fallen off or have cracked and should be pried off so they can again roll smoothly on smooth surfaces, just on the bare gray plastic (I do it all the time, Synhouse has 300-400 flight cases). A few of them have the softer gray tire type wheels that almost never come off. This is indicated in the photos of each case. All of these cases are two-part cases where four latches can be opened and the top comes completely off (not hinged). For the most part, all of the latches, handles, ball corners, etc. are in pretty good shape. The steel rounded ball corners (that are required by the ATA specification, if someone says ATA and the corners are square, it isn't) are in good condition on all these cases. These were normally moved by hand by local cartage, not commercial freight forwarders. These were only stuffed with items, stacked with a forklift, and stored in very dry clean storage at Synhouse for 18 years. All of these cases have four swivel casters on them, expertly mounted on a dolly base. You can replace the cracked polyurethane wheels for good use, but they will roll fine without the polyurethane on them at all. The cases with gray wheels appear to still be fine. They have various foam, carpet, and plywood dividers that should be removed by the buyer to customize them to their needs, unless they are just using them as cable trunks. If any photo of the inside is shown, it's from a 2006 file photo. I will only unstack and pull these once sold, I can't pull them out, empty them out, take a photo of the inside with lousy Anvil foam in them, then re-fill them, then stack them up again, because I'm blowing these out for nothing to make space here. The new larger warehouse space is packed to the centimeter in a state of absolute logjam and a lot of needed work can't be done until 10-20 items are sold and moved out. Inventory notes: (1) Anvil brand (says Anvil on handles) 38.5"L x 37.5"H x 19.75"W on casters, inside has foam, should be stripped out and custom foamed, case split into halves, 2 casters on each, top comes completely off, has six handles in two dimensions, excellent condition outside. Was made for a Barco LCD projector. This is the case with the shortest length (others over 40", this only 38.5"). (9/20/2022: Blue wheels, all tires crumbled off. Has 6 original Fairlight MFX/2 keyboards in it. Has white tag that says "384". Behind a few cases near front right of S10.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shipping: Local pickup in L.A. (the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles or near Glendale where it's temporarily stored) only. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Synhouse has 300-400 flight cases and it has long been a goal to reduce that to around 100-150 cases, with many not going to be moved to the new larger space, so if you are looking for something in particular, just ask and tell me the approximate dimensions, etc., needs casters or not, etc., and I'll tell you what I have. I have a VAST stock of flight case hardware, case parts, casters, etc., and a lot of skill and experience doing modifications and repairs with those items (I made 6 custom rolling dollies in the first six months of lockdown alone, you can see the last of those on the left in the photo gallery of some of my other flight case auctions), so I can make custom caster/dolly bases for cases that don't have casters, etc., as needed. See my other listings for a large long rolling black Anvil case I'd started outfitting for use as a mass guitar case, and possibly some large and medium sized pullover Anvil cases with casters (some perfect, some with the polyurethane missing from the wheels but still roll smoothly on smooth surfaces right on the gray plastic wheels themselves). Once I get it all pulled out I may be selling more cases like a large Jan Al shock rack with pullout table, etc..
