If you look closely at the photo you will notice that the background almost appears to have been painted. This view was taken either in South Dakota or Colorado and the buffalo were actually captive in a park. Right above the head of the animal on the far left you can see some of the fence that Mr. Butcher didn't quite get painted out of his negative. Card has Butcher's back-stamp on reverse.
