Description: This is a beautiful matching set of napkin rings. They were made in Russia utilizing .875 silver. The 84 in the hallmark represents 84 Zolotniki. As a unit, the zolotnik wasthe standard for silver manufacture in Russia into the 20th century. The ladies head on the hallmark is facing to the left, indicating that this set was made before 1908. I don't think it is possible to give them an exact date, but we can narrow them to the 19th, or very early 20th century. In 1908 and onward the head on the hallmark faces to the right. These are beautiful and intricate, but also heavy and well made. The pair weigh a total of 129 grams. Thanks so much for having a look at my listing. I certainly appreciate your time. Please reach out if you have any questions or feedback. I will respond as promptly as possible.
