Benjamin is made from a white coloured material with black button eyes and a white button nose. A hat with the stars ands stripes on it sits on top of his head and he wears a red, white and blue bow tie. Benjamin the Bear was introduced on 29th April 2005. Benjamin was made in honor of Benjamin Franklin. He was retired on 26th August 2005. He was named after Benjamin Franklin. He was released alongside two other Independence Day Beanie Buddies called John (John Adams) and Thomas (Thomas Jefferson). Plush toy from TY 2004. Preowned by an adult collector. Never played with. In excellent like-new condition. Inside tag reads: " Benjamin. Date of Birth: January 17, 1706 "... that they are, endowed by their, Creator with certain unalienable rights ..."."
