Description: DC Comics Batman: Black and White Volumes 1, 2, and 3 (Three-Book Lot) For sale is a lot of three books: "Batman: Black and White - Volume One," "Batman: Black and White - Volume Two," and "Batman: Black and White - Volume Three." These three paperback graphic novels contain an absolute bounty of comic superstar talent, each providing their own spin on the Dark Knight in the form of small, 8-page stories, rendered in stark black and white. The writing and artwork have both been boiled down to their most purest form, and you'll find work from all of the greatest comic contributors here. I don't even want to name names, for fear of leaving many of the notable ones out - there are dozens of high profile contributors, ranging from Alex Ross to Warren Ellis! The stories range from sad to triumphant, frightening to bizarre, mysterious to exciting, and everything in between. Suffice to say, this series was awarded multiple Eisner awards, and for good reason. Collectors may be interested to know that Volumes 2 and 3 are copies from the first printings of their editions. These books are in great condition, with only some light shelf wear on the covers preventing them from being listed as mint condition. There are no other notable defects visible to me, with pretty pristine interiors, no major creases, rips, tears, or missing pages, and strong, intact bindings. Please see the pictures for details. Free shipping will be done via Media Mail in the lower 48 states. Customers from other states (or countries) can inquire for a shipping quote, but it will be more expensive. If a delivery cannot be made by the post office and the item is automatically returned by mail, I am willing to attempt a second shipment - however, the buyer will have to pay for the actual shipping cost of this second attempt (even if the first delivery was made via a "Free Shipping" option or a combined shipping discount was applied for the initial shipment). If an item is damaged in transit or does not otherwise match the original item description, I will provide a full refund - customer satisfaction is important to me. However, all items should be returned in the condition in which they were received.
