Description: I've got 3 long boxes of Batman comics that I'm going to be listing. I'm not a business, nor an expert grader - but I will list approximate grades and allow the pictures to speak for themselves. These are comics that I bought starting back in grade school through about a decade ago, but I need to start decreasing my "stuff." I've taken most of the comics out of bags to allow for better pictures, but not all of the lower value ones. If you need a better picture of an issue, let me know. Will all my approximate grades be the same as someone else, or CGC? Nope. Some likely higher, some lower. Would some that I list as NM slab as a 9.4/9.6? Probably, but I don't have the skill to pick those out and slab them myself to achieve the resulting much higher prices. I'm going to start most auctions at half or less of Overstreet. Shipping. Please read this. I've sold a lot of stuff on ebay over the years. Mostly books or comics. I package WELL. Not just in an envelope. Not like Amazon, which is terrible. Check my feedback as a seller. I have long lost money on shipping, which I'm getting tired of, so I'm going to charge closer to reality. Ebay takes a cut not only of the auction price, but the shipping charge too. So if I charge you what the post office charges me, I'm actually losing money, since ebay takes a cut. Also, while I can reuse some boxes, I've had to buy a lot lately. A box costs OVER a dollar. Add packaging tape, bubble wrap, printer ink, etc and it's AT LEAST $1.50 for supplies alone. So just to not lose money, I need to charge several dollars over what the "face value" USPS shpping cost is. I'm happy to combine lots to save money. I certainly do not intend to make money off the shipping charge, but as anyone that is shipping stuff these days knows, shipping costs have gone up considerably compared to just a few years ago. It's also against USPS regulations to ship comics media mail. I've done it before, and usually get away with it, but not always. A couple times they have inspected the package and then charged the recipient much more money. If you buy multiple lots, and want to ship media rate to save money I'm willing to do so, but the risk you take is if the USPS demands more money, that will be on you.
