Description: This auction is for an outstanding BATES MANSION also known as the PSYCHO HOUSE with Norman and Marion FIGURES in HO 1:87 SCALE by artist D.A. Clayton. It has been BUILT, WEATHERED, DETAILED and ready to place on your Model Train layout or used as a stand-alone MONSTER DIORAMA. Details: The architecture of the house is extremely detailed. This eerie, but charming Victorian house has Gingerbread, Spindle Railings, Trim, Roof Crestings, Lattice, and Corbels. Other fine scaled details to be noted are the Victorian Tower Gable Triple Window, the intricate Front Porch, and the side entrance. The once white Clapboard is now deteriorating as fast as Norman’s brain. The windows have acrylic windowpanes with draperies.The ROOF is Tar & Gravel, and the underpinning is mortared brick. Landscaping: The yard has all the characteristics of once a well-manicured lot, but now it looks like a forgotten plot of land. It was constructed using Natural Sand, simulated Mulch, Stones, a Dead Tree, Weeds, and various Grass Turfs. The Dead Tree is particularly spooky looking! Figures: There are 2 people figures: Norman Bates and Marion Crane are standing on the front porch. They are Hand-Painted figures made by PREISER of West Germany.
