Earthen pots are suitable for cooking rice as well as one-pot meals. The rounded shape allows for good heat distribution and convection. The lid knob and body handle are designed to be easy to grasp even with mittens on. The moderate depth makes it ideal for steaming as well as cooking in a pot.
