The wood itself is not cracked; just a result of the vacillating humidity of the northeastern US and knocking around slightly in storage for 24 years. This cat was purchased by us personally in Bali, Indonesia in 2000. He's 8.5 inches tall at the tip of his tail, 1.5 inches wide, and 6.8 inches long.
