Description: IF YOU READ ANYTHING AT ALL IN THIS LISTING DESCRIPTION PLEASE READ THE NEXT PARAGRAPH No batteries included (still uses 2 AAA batteries). IT IS REQUIRED that you use lithium 1.5 V AAA batteries with this GBP as the built-in power management module of GBP motherboard is very inefficient. When running the new screen and a flash cart such as an everdrive on traditional batteries, especially cheap ones, you will run into power issues and the console shutting off if you do not use LITHIUM AA batteries and try to use alkaline batteries. Rechargeable lithium AAA batteries are ok, but make sure you get a reputable brand that outputs a consistent 1.5 V. Please do not buy this and return it to me telling me that it doesn't work because you didn't read this and used the wrong batteries and waste both my and your time. For sale is a Nintendo Game Boy Pocket model MGB-001, that has had everything around the original motherboard replaced with brand new parts from FunnyPlaying. The list of new parts is as follows- -FunnyPlaying Retro Pixel backlit IPS LCD screen with touch sensor control and new screen lens -FunnyPlaying Clear rose red shell designed to use with the above screen for a perfect fit -FunnyPlaying white buttons -FunnyPlaying white button pads -FunnyPlaying Upgraded clear speaker (better sound) The console works perfectly. The upgraded screen brings new life into these consoles that are hard to go back and use with a non lit screen. The screen is larger than the original GBP screen, and uses the original contrast wheel to now adjust the screen brightness. The rest of the screen’s settings are adjusted by tapping the touch sensor on top of the console. To adjust the screen’s various settings, simply hold your finger on the top center of the console until the on screen menu appears, and then tap once to increase the currently selected value. Holding on the sensor will move to the next menu option to the right. Here is the description for each of the settings- BRT- this is screen brightness and is controlled by the contrast wheel on the right side. CLR- this changes the color palette of the screen, there are 36 choices DSP- display and pixel grid mode choices FRM- Frame blending on or off, on reduces flicker for transparency effects XST- adjusts horizontal screen position YST- adjusts vertical screen position DBE- to be honest I’m not sure what this one does, couldn’t find any documentation or anyone discussing it, turning it on seems to increase brightness Comes with a reproduction copy of Pokemon Red as an included free gift.
