Description: Aynsley Fine Bone China Footed Cup & Saucer Set Blue & Green Grapes Leaves For consideration is this vintage bone china footed cup and saucer set made by John Aynsley & Sons in England. The pattern is grapes and grape leaves forming a band on both the cup and saucer. The cup has a white interior and blue exterior with the above-mentioned band of green grapes and green grape leaves outlined in white. The rim, foot and handle are accented in gold. The cup measures 2¾ inches tall, the scalloped mouth measures 3½ inches in diameter and the base measures 2 inches in diameter. The base is marked with the Aynsley crown logo (see photos) and additionally “S 380” is hand painted in gold. I was unable to definitely determine that the number is a pattern number and I was unable to identify a name for this pattern. The saucer has a white center and a large band of blue with the grapes theme. The scallop edged saucer measures 5½ inches in diameter and the back is marked with the same logo as the cup. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, discoloration or crazing noted. Buyer will pay shipping on a 1 pound box. Thank you for looking!
