The cartridge is white with blue screw on caps. Manufactured from virgin food grade polypropylene by injection molding, the filter cartridge is extremely durable and well made. We have evaluated a number of empty refillable filter cartridges and found this cartridge to provide the best performance. The cap makes a tight seal and does not leak, even under high pressure. Unlike a number of filter cartridges, this cartridge does not plug, even when using powder media. Excellent for use with virtually any media, including polyphosphate, ion exchange resins, carbon, KDF, powders, and more.
