Traditional Romani occupations often involved working with their hands or using their creativityand include blacksmithing, metalworking, horse trading, music, entertainment, fortune telling, basket weaving and other crafts. The Romany lifestyle is one of resilience, cultural pride, and adaptation. While many Romani people have adopted a more settled way of life, their traditions and heritage continue to be a vital part of their identity.
