Description: Most likely offered during the US Bicentennial in 1976 is this authentic wood chip from a beam in Independence Hall in Philadelphia. This relic comes in it's presentation box that features the signatures of the Declaration of Independence signers along with a paper scroll. The box has moisture damage on it's inside with rust at the hinges with some on the metal surrounding the wood chip which is still in good condition. Please see the photos for details. The box measures 6" x 5 1/4" and is about 1 1/8" tall.
