Description: Large rag ball with vintage and antique fabrics. I have not unwrapped but there appears to be a wide range of fabrics and patterns. There is a black synthetic fabric on the outside of the ball that is probably from the 70s but all of the other fabrics looks older and are cotton. A little background, this is from the estate of an 89 year old woman. Her mother used to quilt and I have several quilts that her mother made dating from the 1920s-1940s. I’m assuming this ball is something her mother started. This was not a decorative peice, it was found among the sewing items in the upstairs. Measures about 8” in diameter
