This handle is lathe turned by hand from American quartersawn white ash specifically to fit the newest version of the Stanley 750 socket chisel. With a Janka Hardness of 1450 lbf (6,500 N) this chisel handle is very strong and can be used with or without a mallet. It has a wonderful fine intertwined grain with beautiful coloring. If you are looking for a longer domestic wood handle than the stock one that comes with these chisels than this is one for you. It feels great in the hand, is beautiful and will make working with your chisels more productive and comfortable. Specifications: Overall length: 140 - 155MM Diameter at the chisel end: 13MM inches tapered to 7MM Length of the taper: 27-29MM Diameter of handle: 28MM The end of the handle is flared in to 18MM. Each handle is sanded and finished with a mineral oil and beeswax finish.
