Francis Stillwell Dixon is known for his landscapes and seascapes, of which this is a fine example. It is signed FRANCIS DIXON at the lower right corner on the front, and dated June 08, 1941 on the back (see photo.) Dimensions of the painting are 10" wide x 8-1/8" tall, and outside dimensions of the wood frame are 12" wide x 10-5/8" tall. Condition of the painting is excellent as original with no damage.
