This beautiful exotic wood is harvested from the roots of the Thuya tree creating its unique look. The accents with gold finish complement the grain with an elegant look. The cap is threaded to secure the cap in both the closed and open configurations. A cyanoacrylate (CA) finish protects the wood providing one of the most durable protective finishes for use on pens. The wood barrels have been polished to an ultra-smooth glossy shine. It is a thick bodied pen that feels great in your hand with the silky feeling finish. It uses a rollerball refill which is included (black, medium). The ink refill is made in Germany by Schneider and writes very smoothly with a dark black line. The tip is spring loaded for a smooth writing experience.
