This rare set consists of a stand with six matching knives. It is crafted of red bakelite and silver or nickel silver with a timeless luxury design. The stand is handmade of silver metal with red small rings under the stand and a red ball at the top. The stand is very high quality work, everything even the small feet have been worked with threads. The whole thing is reminiscent of a journeyman's piece or silversmith's work. The handles are made of red bakelite , please see my photos for the product offered. The blades of the knives are stainless steel, signed "Rostfrei Solingen" or other company name. The pieces are in very good used condition, with only slight signs of use, see photos. This item is ideal for eating fruit and also a very nice collectible.
