Description: "Katchu To Token" (or "Armor and Swords") is a large 250 page, 10.5"x14" hardcover written by Motoharu Ozaki and Kanzan Sato and published in 1970 in Japan by Shogakukan as Vol. 21 in a 30-volume set (Genshoku Nihon No Bijutsu) focused on Japanese art and culture. All text is in Japanese except some information on the plates is provided in English at the back. It's a look at the traditional armor and weapons used by samurai warriors. There are illustrations throughout, some in color. The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket and boards are now protected by clear plastic; the jacket shows a bit of wear where exposed at the spine ends. There are no internal marks, and the binding is sturdy. The original slipcase is missing.
