From the manual: The Apple IIe Extended 80-Column Text/AppleColor Card provides all the features of the Extended 80-Column Text Card; plus some new video modes and the ability to interface your Apple IIe computer to a NTSC or RGB type monitor, or to both at the same time. It also allows you to select the color of your monitor's text by the simple setting of two on-board mini-slide switches. The RGB output of your new card improves the video quality of the Apple IIe by removing the extraneous colors that occur during color transitions in the hi-res graphics and mixed modes. Because I can't test the card, it is sold as is.
