Beads were handmade by the famous indigenous Jewish Badihi family of silversmiths in the late 1800s to early 1900s Yemen. The Badihi silversmiths were renowned for their jewelry craftsmanship which was way ahead of its time. The beads measure 22 mm x 21 mm and are made of good silver with a silver content of a Maria Theresa thaler coin. The beads have a gorgeous wear and patina to it. The beads are granulated with the famous Badihi "barley" pattern signifying Judaic symbolism. The globe beads are in good condition considering how old they are. Normal antique wear can be observed in pictures. Signature Hallmark faded but still reads: "Amram - Pure Silver" Please ask any additional questions you may have.
