Description: This antique basket is the second of a pair of baskets. It was made with hardwood splints that are woven and bound with more bent wood. The top is lined with a solid wood band and the bent wood handle folds. There are solid wood stabilizers in the bottom of the basket and solid wood feet. Condition is very good, with some signs of weathering, but no breaks that I could see. Wonderful patina!Measurements are: 17" by 9 1/2" and 12" tall.
