Description: Antique Lippelsdorf, Wagner Apel & Laube/Kuch & Co 1883 Girl Feeding Birds Germany. 4.5"6" Since this piece is stamped foreign and 1602 only says that it was produced between 1883 and 1923 and knowing that the # 1602 is part of the 'wagner inventory I checked the history of the company from 1877-1883 it was Porzellan manufaktur Kuch & Co. From 1883-1901 it was Porzellan manufaktur Wagner Apel & Laube Since Kuch & Co didn't have any stamp they used except the foreign stamp, I believe that this piece came out during that era also since the Wagner & Apel has put this same piece out it has always carried their stamp even before the law changed in 1883 (the US said that any import couldn't use the foreign stamp after 1923). This piece is in excellent condition with the exception of 3 tiny dots of paint on the head, it's not damage it's a defect in the making.
